They know that there are plenty of other state DNRs that allow geocaching. Their response to that was simply, "we are chartered to be different than everyone else." In fact, Courtland Nelson, one of the highest ups in the DNR w/regards to the State Park system came from Utah (a very geocaching friendly state) and still defers to those that have been in the MN system so that he knows he's following their charter.
So no, it won't make a difference. _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

Another positive news clip on Geocaching, thanks drat19 for bringing it to our attention. _________________ Remember One does not need the MNGCA to geocache, but the MNGCA does need members to survive. |
