Have you been to any caches in the Twin Cities area where you just sat there and soaked up the view?
I would love to find a few caches with fantastic views where you could just sit down for an hour , maybe with binoculars, and watch.
I know there is a cache on a dead end bridge, that is supposed to be wonderful, but I can't remember where it is or what it is called.
Thanks,

I do not know much about the metro area but I thought this one had a great view.

Thanks, that is the cache I read about before.
It looks like Born Free will have to wait a little bit longer to get rehid.
Thanks.
I think I will have to start hitting the Cache-of-the-Month list, maybe hit one each time I head out. That would spread me around more that just the north metro. |

| I guess you would have to define what's metro and what's the suburbs. I really enjoy Spring Lake Park (Shaar's Bluff) and Sunfish Lake Park in Lake Elmo (Actually I went after the new caches there today and decided I want to go hike all the trails there sometime in the fall). |

I agree, right now, before the leaves get on the trees, the Sunfish Lake caches are very nice...go check those out. |

I like the river caches, "Mountain Goat" (GCHXB9) has some nice places to sit and watch the river from the bluffs, just down the road is the "official" lookout area which is nice as well.
Here are a couple of my favorite pics I've taken from various metro caches:
"Mountain Goat" (GCHXB9)
"When Darkness Falls......." (GCHAYC)
"Virtual Heart of Minneapolis" (GC6CD)
"Searching the Skyline in Earnest (archived)"
"Kids Fishing Pond 2.0" (GCH0VE)
