I spoke with the Mayor of Roseville (our kids played football together, and we went to school together a year or two apart). I mentioned that I was into geocaching and how much fun it was...he commented on the recent article and the cigarette in the cacher's mouth...it even got an editorial response from a reader, who wondered what cachers were teaching their kids...not the best photo...something to think about when a photographer is following you around.

Anyway, the Mayor knows about it, and was happy to hear "who" was doing it, but he only appoints the Park Board, so he doesn't control them... we have his ear if we need it, but we shouldn't smoke on camera! Embarassed

Funny how times change--I was recently watching a '50's era documentary on the History Channel or something, and everyone who was interviewed in front of the camera smoked.
