Jambro, you move them like 30' according to your Magellen and they'll be closer to the real GPS coordinates

And then when we go on Wednesdays to find them in a group, the trusty LOWRANCE and I will still be FTF _________________ "There is a pleasure in the pathless woods..." - Lord Byron |

Don't worry Jambro...the reason I have to pick the cache's this week is because I was trying to make sure someone took your place looking 20-30 feet away from ground zero like you do. Nothing really against Magellans in general...just yours

At least we Magellan users never have to wite in our logs "Poor sat reception due to tree cover" or "Couldn't get a good reading due to cloud cover(?)".
Go Jambro! |

Only the silly non-color e-Trex users have that problem. The new antennas make the newer Garmin units work just as well. _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

My geo buddy has a magellan and I have a garmin and there are things we have in common that results in DNF's
1. Muggles got it (what worst is to drive out of your way for a this type of DNF).
2. Cache over 60 feet from posted coordinates. Anything less-I hope to find.
3. Buried in snow-that why I say-Is it spring yet?! (I got a list just waiting for the thaw in the "tundra"). _________________ Summer is too short |

After buying the Lowrance you'll still have gas money left over to go find the cache... _________________ Let me not be confused forever.

OK Jambro, you got me so far. But that may be just because I am a rookie. I suppose I will need to read some more news. |

FWIW...
I called Lowrance tech support with a problem I had wit ha card reader I bought. I quickly described the problem to the person, then he started in with the name, phone number, address speech. I got through that and he simply said the new part would be there in 2- 3 days. No returns, no hassles, no anything. I was stunned. "That's what we do." is all he said to me before saying goodbye.
Very impressed.
Does Gargellan do that? _________________ Let me not be confused forever.

Do you use that thumb a lot for hitchhiking when your Magellan leads you miles from where you parked? |

On a recent trip, a friend of mine had a Magellan, and he’d left it in his car....he was sort of worried, because it wasn’t the best neighborhood. We weren’t in the store long, because I knew he was concerned. Sure enough, when we got back to the car, they had somehow broke in, and now instead of one, there were three Magellans in there. Sheesh! _________________ ...formerly 'dachebo'. |
