My Computer Engineer buddy from Veritas Software seems to have found a girlfriend, so he's not around to answer my questions anymore.
I was in Mankato today to watch my son bowl in a regional MN Singles tournament. He asked me to come early and *fix* his computer.
The CPU unexpectedly loses power, shutting it down.
The following error message appears during boot-up:
Error starting program
PSAPI.DLL is linked to missing export NTDLL.DLL:NtAllocate Virtual Memory
I have ON TRACK Fix-It installed and ran some of the tests.
FAILURE: I C Data Path Test
A failing interrupt controller
A failing interval timer chip
Unknown motherboard failure
Interrupt Controller Test showed no problem.
I don't know if these are related. I did a search on PSAPI.DLL and NTDLL.DLL and found them in Windows/System
I believe there was a *P2P Network* file, which is/was a part of Kazaa (mp3 sharing) He uninstalled (or deleted ?) Kazaa
Any ideas ? _________________ Joined: 16 Dec 2002
