Just a question. I placed 4 caches last friday, reported them that night. I did ask that they didn't get activated until Monday 12/1, to give my tracks time to melt. Since then I have heard/seen nothing. Is this a reasonable time frame, perhaps I'm worrying too soon? I do worry that they were put on the back burner for a few days then forgotten about. I e-mailed the same place you report to, but no response yet. I'm sure they're really busy folks as we all are. What to do? Thanks for any info. _________________ Save the earth.

The time always varies...... the fastest I have ever had a cache approved was 35 minutes and the longest was about 6 days.
99% of gc.com are volunteers who are busy and have long lists of caches to be checked on..... be patient. There was probably a backlog with Thanksgiving and such happening.
My only suggestion would be to make sure the "is the cache active?" box is checked yes, or else your caches won't even be placed in the queue for approval. (a lesson learned the hard way ) |

You're probably very right. I just wasn't sure, these being the first I've put out. I'll keep waiting. I did make sure they are all check marked as active. Thanks, _________________ Save the earth.
