I have had a membership there for awhile but I don't use it. The system is significantly better than geocaching.com, but the user base isn't there yet. I haven't exactly been motivated to do caches on terracaching.com yet either.

I love terracaching. We have about 20 or so here in San Diego County. I did my first two a few weeks ago on a 14 mile roundtrip summit peak loop, it also contained several geocaches which was a bonus. I intend to find a few more out on the desert summits, maybe even place a few, before the heat comes.

It's a good compliment for those who want a bit more of a challenge and to review your accomplishments in the sophisticated rating system.

TO PASSING WIND: We are headed to the Laughlin area in a few days for 2 weeks- have about 130 caches loaded- I noticed your name in some of the logs as we looked through them- hopefully the snakes will be sleeping!!!Looking forward to caching and a couple of canoe trips on the Colorado River-
