| A friend of mine from backpacking days ended up with ALS. He is now in a wheelchair. His dream was to retire to New Mexico. He is now 56 years old. I was thinking of creating a "Wandering Kenny" travel bug and on the back ask people who find it to drop him a postcard from wherever they are. The bug would be a laminated picture of him from one of our trips with the information on the back. I was wondering if it was appropriate to do something like this. Thanks |

| I think it is a great idea for a bug. So many are just an alien who "wants to travel the world". I like the ones with special meaning or an educational bent. |

VERY VERY appropriate. When my mother-in-law was confined to a wheel chair due to MS, she had to live through other people's adventures. She put the word out that she would be receptive to any accounts of adventures and people complied with post cards, snaphots, even a bit of sand or a leaf or piece of wood- or etc from travels they took. Yes, this would be very appropriate. _________________ LIFE IS GOOD;CABIN LIFE IS GREAT |

Very Good Idea! Would be a great way to help another person
enjoy the adventures we all take. |
