I currently have "Terri the Turtle" TB who wants to get to Alaska eventually. I would love to excort the little cutie there myself, however don't have a trip planned THAT far north . Anyone headed up there this winter? Any ideas for a good cache that I should plan to drop her off at? ~MGG |

Heh, why not? Oddly enough, I always thought it'd be cool to cache in antarctica, almost polarly opposite from Alaska, then again, I tend to like winter, so any cold climate works, heh. |

Actually, I'm headed to Anchorage on the 19th. I don't know if I'll have time to cache, but I'd be glad to take it up there with me and see if I can drop it off. Here's the problem - I'm going to be out of town from Thursday night until next Friday night, then I'm leaving Saturday just before noon. Don't know where you're located - I'm in Lino Lakes, gonna try to make weeknight caching tomorrow night in Bloomington. Can you make the switch with me? Let me know...
Edit - I just realized I was posting in the Northern MN thread, so this may not work. Let me know... |

Hey Jambro,
I am fairly new to this sport...so don't know all the rules yet. Am I allowed to send it to you for you to get it to Alaska? I guess that kinda defeats the whole purpose doesn't it?? So, I don't know...I may look into a TB hotel in Fargo, ND this weekend. I will be there...if not, I'll find a cozy little cache for it to hibernate for the winter. Thanks for the note. Hope you had a good evening of caching. Myself, I lucked out with a Micro...sun sets too early these days.
