I don't know about anyone else, but I'm looking forward to the upcoming meeting, especially since I've missed most of the other events this summer. It's almost like meeting radio personalities--putting faces with screen-names (I've always pictured Tom Barnard as looking like Doug from King of Queens, and I still find it hard to picture him how he really looks instead of how he sounds). Another nice thing about meeting other cachers is that I can start a conversation with "So there I was painting ammo cans in my driveway..." without everyone looking at me funny and getting ready to run away, run far, far away.

Well we know Matt is planning on coming.

Here is a sort of an agenda for the meeting. If you have any other ideas, please post them.

*Welcome with a little on the history of the MNGCA.
*Possible presentation on the survey done by U of M professor.
*Update on MN DNR policy.
*Midwest Moutaineering support.
*Video of WCCO report on Geocaching. =5min.
*Voting for vacant MNGCA Board positions. We have the following positions open.

1. Co-Chair position. Vacated by Rob
2. Boardmember position. Vacated by Chad
3. Boardmember position. Vacated by Chris Berg if anyone is interested.
Also vacant: a. Secretary
b. Treasurer

If any of these positions interest you, please come to the meeting and let your interest be known. We will have you stand up as a nomination to yourself and describe why you want the position. We will then vote from the candidates to fill the position. If you can't make it, email me with which position you are interested in and why, and I will make the presentation for you.

If anyone has any other topics, or a presentation that would be interesting, please post it here. I look forward to seeing you all again soon. Rob

Nice to see more ...I'm glad I'm beginning to learn more faces....I can't wait for another event!!! Hopefully next time I'll bring the girls!!
