that is wierd. Zoom in, and some small woods to the west of your pin, but sure not a big area at all. I think that would freak me out if I came across that on the hunt. Have seen interesting "bones" around caches and along trails, but most likely deer. _________________ round n' round we go! |

Luckily there aren't any substations, stadiums, towers, churches, schools, etc. etc. etc. in that spot, or I could have been the one who found the decomp--that area is in my quad for the NMC, and I've been busy the last couple of weeks getting waypoints. So far, the nearest waypoint I have to that area is the Dakota Co. Burnhaven Library approx. .4 miles NE. _________________ There comes a time in every young boy's life when he gets an irresistible urge to seek buried treasure.--Mark Twain |

I'm generally ok with many different sorts of things. I think if I found a dead body that was a maximum of a day dead I'd have no problem with it. If I found someone that was partialy decomposing though I can't even think of how I would react. I'm sure it would scare me really good! Too bad though about the guy dying... Did they find a GPS near him at all? |

I was an unfortunate individual in that I was near some of the mass graves in Bosnia when I was over there. "Advanced state" would be a kind word to say about those. I didn't hurl or anything like that but it was an amazing sight to see. We were told not to take pictures but I probably couldn't have taken any anyhow. I was outright mesmorized by what I saw.
And many of them are still being held by their host faction and not being tried under international law, but I digress. |
