I've had it for a couple of days. I've noticed that it seems to route a bit smarter than v6, at least between my house and work. Also comparing the maps in v7 vs. v6 in many areas that I knew weren't quite right in v6 now look right (parts of Elk River and Chisago City). _________________ "Hi, I'm Moe, or as the women know me - Hey! | I've found it to be a bit more spotty re the p.o.i than I was hoping. For example, I didn't double check when not momentarily stopped at a traffic light, but fwiw I only saw the Bloomington REI listed; the Roseville REI was absent. I've noticed a few funny things like that. But obviously it's great to have the updates even if they're not perfect. I'm glad the maps aren't way bigger than v6. I feared I wouldn't be able to load a large enough area since v7 came on a dvd instead of 2CDs as v6 did. |

Yeah, but at least we always have a backup -- let's just hope we don't DNF all the caches on any particular day -- find a cache eat a pretzel! _________________ Sad state of affairs. |
