Personally, I would have no problem at all if they wiped the 20 virtuals I "found" off of my found list. As for those abominations known as locationless caches, if I had any, I'd be relieved to have them erased from my record.

lol! Ah well, to each their own. It's not about numbers anyway So let people count/discount them. At least on the stats page each type is listed out on their own, I should try for hitting some milestones in different categories. |

I'll try one more time, no links provided. No stats are lost.
Look up mucluck's stats for caches found. I went with her for about 6 caches, which put her at 299. She was going to Scout Camp, had never found a locationless, and planned this one for her milestone.
Yes, she logged it. Yes, it's on the site. Yes, it's in her stats total.
Now look at her recent finds. If you want to know what she did for #300 you will not find out there.
Some of mine are the same way. You will not find my #100
aaarrghhh, I have a headache. I think I'll go place some more virtuals. |

The stats should be controlled by an user profile item(s).
You want virtuals... (y/n)
You want locationless.. (y/n)
You want Earthcaches... (y/n)
You want benchmarks... (y/n)
You want regular caches.. (y/n)
You want multi-caches... (y/n)
etc...
If you don't want any stats, set them all to N. Voila, everybody determines what gets included in their own stats. |

My understanding is that the counts on GEOCACHING.com will not change when the locationless and virtuals move . They will still show towards the total found and the category should be there.
Is this correct |
