| Has anyone had any luck, good or bad, with a particular auto mechanic near South St. Paul? I’m looking for one that works on foreign cars. |

My best advice for you would be to go to this site : www.aseblueseal.org/
Check to see if any shops in your area are a part of this program. Most shops have ASE certified technicians...but only the "cream of the crop" meet the qualifications to become part of the ASE Blue Seal program.
I work as an auto technician...but way north of you =) (I am at the ASE Master Technician level of certification)
The shop I work at is part of this program but we are probably too far away for you...and although we do work on foreign cars....It is not our specialty.
Hope this helps.

Pace's 66 on West St. Paul is where I bring all my work....
but for easy things I go to NIPS on Southview....he doesn't have all the fancy computers etc....so he can only do easy work...
other then that...I don't trust anybody in the area...and I hate dealer rates.... |

| I have an excellent mechanic, but unfortunately, they're in the north metro (Arden Hills). |
