Well neighbors, the DW has decided that she wants to hit the MOA some time before Christmas. I figure if we go in Sept we can drag the camper up and I can spend the day caching.

So, is there a list of favorite caches on the MnGCA site somewhere?
Also, any suggestions for camping down around (or south of) the mall.

Based on the fact that you get your reservations in on January 1st for May I didn't think that they would have any open spots so I didn't bother on offering that up as a suggestion.

if you get stuck inside, you could always grab this cache. It is in the mall, very cool, and fun to do, even if the shopping part of your contingent does not want to participate.

Dyl1231 and I camped at Lebanon Hills last year. 20 miles from home!!! You can do plenty of caches in Lebanon Hills, although for some reason like 50% are micros. Go figure.

I liked that cache, it was a fun one and a beautiful walk in the woods, great hide. I think about that one often was out there with my dad when he was in town and was one of his first adventures, I think he is still amazed at MN "parks" compared to Southern CA "parks".
