Well here's another "small-world" TB story. I just placed KB's "CCC Going to CA" bug near LAX today. In searching the nearest caches, GCKAP9 shows up. In it is Alfredo, who was just placed out here last month.
In reading his TB page, it belongs to none other than our very own Merkong - and his goal is to get back to St. Paul, MN! Since that cache is less than 2 miles from our hotel, I think we'll mosey on over there and check it out tomorrow. If Alfredo is still there, it could be the fastest a TB has ever reached his 1,500 mile goal when we go home in two weeks - but somehow I suspect that's a little *too* fast, so we'll pr'bly find someplace else to leave him out here. Is it possible there's a time when moving a bug to his goal is a lil' TOO helpful?? *sigh* Anyway, fwiw...
