Does anyone use AVG Antivirus software or anything similar? It's free for individuals and for use on one computer. They have an upgraded version too. I'm currently using Norton Internet Security but I'm looking for a cheaper alternative because I have 6 computers at home and a multi license it getting too expensive to renew every year. |

Yes I use it. i also use spybot Sand D, Spywareblaster and the beta version of microsofts antivirus. I also usesygate personal firewall. and I do a couple of on line scans every other week. These are free programs and I have had good results from them. ie: No spyware/trojons yet. But I also practices safe surfing!! _________________ Good Food,Good wine, Great Friends |

Yeah, I use AVG Antivirus and it works for what you get. I don't worry so much about virus infections as I do w/spyware but as Chef said: Spybot, Adaware, and SpywareBlaster pretty much cover you. Supposedly Microsoft's Antispyware package is half-decent but I haven't tried it myself. _________________ Sad state of affairs. |
