If you are a Firefox user, someone has developed a search plug-in for gc.com.
If your not useing Firefox, what are you waiting for? _________________ "Hi, I'm Moe, or as the women know me - Hey! You in the bushes."

Whoohoo! Thanks Moe!
I've been using firefox for a month or so now, really like the tabbed browsing feature too, glad to see a little geocaching plugin available. |

My experience using both the Mac (home) and Windows (work) version is that FF is faster than IE. Another benefit: on my work PC, Ad-aware and Spybot have detected not one spy-ware item since I made the switch from IE. _________________ "Hi, I'm Moe, or as the women know me - Hey! It's not on Windows: http://www.howtocreate.co.uk/browserSpeed.html# but yeah, the Spyware thing is always there but with Spybot, Adaware, and SpywareBlaster it's good enough.
That said, I have been using Safari mostly _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

maybe getting off topic, but...
I may have had reason to try FF back when I had msn.....spybot did nothing but disable all but six problems every time I ran it....Ad-aware took care of all of them, and I only ran it once 2 months ago, haven't had a pop-up since using IE.....no problem.... no reason to want more. _________________ ...formerly 'dachebo'. |

Thanks for the tip Moe. I've been using Mozilla for over a year now and really enjoy using it. About the only thing I don't like is the
<body bgproperties="fixed"> tag. It doesn't work with Mozilla. I like to use and see fixed backgrounds on web pages. Looks cleaner. |

I'm a happy user of Firefox at home and IE at work. I have not seen a big difference in speed between the two.
I can say that I test changes to the site for both (and Opera when I think of it). |

I try to make sure my pages are W3C validated (4.01 Transitional). I still have to change my "Photo Album Changelog" but since that requires rewriting some scripts I have been doing everything else first.
If it validates pretty much any modern browser should view it fine, right? _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

Should being the operative word. I've been burned too many times by assuming that is enough and not specifically checking. |

| Firefox is all I've used for the past several months. It's really been quite nice to surf along without worrying about pop-ups. I haven't installed Service Pack II on my main computer, and IE is a sieve. |
