We finally were able to enjoy this awesome virtual this morning. Neither Trekkin' or I are retired military, so we followed the information on the ANG Museum website to contact them ahead of time to arrange a tour. One bit of info...if you are a civilian and don't have an enhanced drivers license, get one. We get them automatically now in Wisconsin, but apparently Minnesota makes it a logistical issue to obtain them. They'll be needed for air travel before long anyway, so that also makes it worth the hassle.

We spent at least two hours out there enjoying the tour. Stan had a lot of great stories and we got to climb into cockpits, put on vintage air helmets and goggles and gawk at lots of cool aeronautical things. We both agreed we'd love to go back sometime and bring the grandkids, as they are always getting different things out there to show. We had a blast!
