I have been approved for a geo-road trip as early as March 11. I'm thinking to target SE MN, south of Burnsville, east of Mankato. Even more specifically the Highway 52 corridor and Rochester area. I don't want to deal with snow. Is snow from last weekend a concern, or will it be a concern in two weeks? I'm thinking not, but want to make sure before thinking too deeply into it.

Rosemount got nothing but a dusting last weekend. But a mere 20 miles south near Welch, I was hiking in over a foot of snow while trying to get to "the top of the rock". Assuming the weather stays warm, that foot of snow should be very manageable or gone by the time you hit this direction.

Also, Whitetail Woods Regional Park is a hot caching spot.. WW only got the dusting that we got in Rosemount. If you need some cache, I mean cash, stop by WW and use the ATM. Wink Also, don't forget the Geocaching.com Blog COTW located in Lebanon Hills Regional Park. Wink Wink

Rochester had just over a foot of snow last Friday. It's probably half gone already. By your trip it shouldn't be an issue. But now that I said that...
